We are now at the end of our fundraising campaign and it looks like we may fall short of reaching our objective of $96,000. Quadshox needed to raise this amount because the products we will offer have to be registered with the Food and Drug Administration and provided from a company with a solid financial base. Trying to raise a lesser amount would not have enabled the introduction of the QuadshoX suspension system, and that would have been misleading to both our supporters a…nd those who need the product.
If you have committed your support to our campaign with a credit card, Kickstarter will not enable that charge to occur if we don’t reach our target. You can, however, choose to donate that same sum directly to John Morris by simply mailing your contribution directly to John Morris, c/o QuadshoX, LLC, 1724 Glenwood Drive, Fort Collins, CO 80526. The funds will be used to pay for the F.D.A. registration process, perfect our patents, and develop marketing materials for the introduction of the Qx-1 and Qx-2.
While we are disappointed that we fell short of our goal, we can assure you that QuadshoX is not going to fade away. We will begin to look to the more traditional means of raising capital and seek to find financial partners who share our same values and objectives. What QuadshoX is determined to do needs to be done, and the six million people restricted to wheelchairs are entitled to QuadshoX products that are designed to meet their unique requirements.
God Bless all of you for your encouragement and support. We can’t thank you enough!
